An old housemate loved this combo so I gave it a go but I couldn't do it. It wasn't just the flavour combination but the textures of the two, and the opposing viscosity, I found unpalatable. Isn't it funny though how different everyone's tastebuds are.

Did you try it with olive oil and balsamic vinegar? I think it would be a totally different scenario without them!
I didn't, but I trust you so I'm going to try it again with those two additions.
